As Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be a dedicated and passionate individual capable of producing highly strategic and profitable integrated marketing campaigns for Precept’s clients. Working alongside a team of strategists, designers, digital marketers and developers, you will drive marketing output and implement high-performing campaigns from strategy to execution, with a focus on paid activity.
The role will initially involve remote working in line with government guidance. However, you will predominantly work from Precept’s Newcastle-based studio on St Peter’s Marina.
Experience
You will have at least 5 years of industry experience working in an agency environment with experience as a PPC specialist. You must be a confident self-starter who’s able to work with a range of B2B and B2C clients, from established SMEs to global brands, while managing your workload independently.
Portfolio
You will be a proven marketer with experience in paid campaign activity and should demonstrate a varied portfolio of results-driven marketing. Your work will showcase strategic thinking, comprehensive planning and impeccable execution. You must be able demonstrate commercial awareness and showcase how you’ve helped successfully meet client’s business objectives.
People Skills
You will be a personable and confident individual, capable of working as a part of a team and independently, regularly engaging and presenting to clients. Your experience and knowledge should allow you to quickly become a trusted advisor to C-suite executives.
Presentation Skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. You will create and deliver compelling workshops, presentations and reports to both colleagues and clients to effectively communicate marketing strategies, concepts and results.
Marketing Skills
You must have deep knowledge of managing integrated marketing campaigns, be able to produce marketing copy and support the optimisation of all customer digital journeys, including PPC, SEO, Social & Web. You will have a full understanding of Google AdWords, certified with Google Ads Fundamentals and Google Ads Search. You will be well-versed in implementing keyword and conversion analysis, conducting keyword research and constructing ad copy, and ascertaining bid prices, split testing and conversion monitoring. A solid understanding of Google Analytics, SEO and experience delivering LinkedIn and Facebook campaigns will be essential.
